Eileen Rand (played by Anjelica Huston) is an adjunct professor in both the Theatre and Film MFA divisions at Columbia University. In 1994, Rand founded the Eileen and Jerome Rand Scholarship at Juilliard for actors showing exceptional talent and promise. In 2009, Rand received a commendation from the New York City Council for her support of the arts and her humanitarian efforts with underprivileged youth. Rand has been listed in New York Magazine's list of the 100 most influential women in New York City twice, in 2006 and 2011. In 2012, Rand starts production on a Houston-Levitt project based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. She currently lives on the Lower East Side.
