Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Reprise) is an original song first featured in Bombshell, the fifteenth episode of the first season of Smash. Being an original song, it was written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. It is currently an unreleased song; however, it is a reprise of an already released number.
In the context of Bombshell, the number sees Marilyn's ex-husband Joe DiMaggio mourn at her funeral. He brings a rose to set on her grave and sadly reminisces about how the two fell apart. It was written by Tom Levitt and Julia Houston and was first performed at the Boston previews with Michael Swift as Joe DiMaggio.
