This show is nothing compared to what it once was. They keep adding stories that add nothing to the show and nobody could possibly care about. All the characters have the same temperament: short fuse, won't listen to reason and immediately fly off the handle causing DRAMA? It's tiring watching a bunch of imbeciles go through the paces so hopefully we get to see a great tune... which is happening less and less often.
SMASH was INCREDIBLE last year, but it's no wonder that the chance of a season 3 is about 0.01%...
I REALLY during about the first 10 episodes of season 2. But I think that SMASH reached bottom a few weeks ago and now it's just filling in its own grave... Since Jimmy and Kyle were introduced the show has plummeted to the point of being ridiculous. Every character, with perhaps the exception of Eileen, has been warped into an almost-parody of what they used to be. The storylines have become less about the show like it used to be, and is now almost COMPLETELY focused on how much of an idiot Jimmy is... Kyle's death just seemed like a rushed attempt to create some interesting drama by the writers...
I would LOVE a third season, but only if it gets back to how it used to be, when people looked forwards to watching the show rather than almost forcing themselves to watch it in the hopes of something actually happening other than pointless drama...
